You choose not to.

But if you wanted to go out there and fight, if somebody was out there really putting a competitive offer out there for Cody Bellinger,
And you absolutely could have went punch for punch to get Cody Bellinger back on this ball club.
You were going to sit it out because of embarrassment?
Sell the team.
Seriously, sell the team.
Put it up for sale now.
Start getting some bidders ready.
And then maybe in 2027, if there's baseball, because again, we heard from an ownership source after the Kyle Tucker signing that they're going to push for a salary cap.
And let's take a while to guess who the ownership source is.
Maybe in 2027, we'll be lucky that Aaron Judge still has another year of prime left at his age 35 season, and maybe somebody will be in the owner's chair that's willing to spend and put the right team around him.
