I haven't calculated it exactly, but I know the cost of living is going to be a lot less in terms of everything across the board. Right now we're about $650 over budget every month, and that's because of how much we pay in California. And I know Texas would probably give us a lot more wiggle room. For sure.

Well, I'm a nurse, so I make a living. but I make around $40 an hour. That's great. There's some Texas jobs that pay more, you know, out there.
