Six years since he scored a Six Nations try, which is crazy when you think back to 2018 when he broke the try scoring record at the time that he'd have to wait.
another six years after 2020.
Overall, yeah?
Yeah, I thought he did quite well.
I didn't think it was the kind of performance that has nailed him in the team for next week.
I always felt that coming into this game, and we discussed this yesterday when we were at the captain's run, that
I thought selecting him tonight was really smart management by Andy Farrell because, look, the back three as a collective had a really tough night in Paris.
Jamie Osborne has gotten better and better and was very good for the most part again tonight.
Tommy O'Brien got his opportunity off the bench in Twickenham and was excellent.
So I think it was, to be fair to Stockdale, he did deserve another opportunity.
He's been playing very well for Ulster tonight.
But I just think Tommy O'Brien played so well in Twickenham that I didn't really look at it as him being dropped per se.
I think it was more about putting an arm around Stockdale and saying, look, this is your big opportunity.
And I thought he did very well.
But if I'm looking ahead to next weekend, I'd be surprised if Tommy O'Brien didn't come back into the team because I just think of the spark that himself and Balakun offered in Twickenham.
I know he doesn't play on the left wing.
He's more of a right winger.
But the way they linked together was brilliant.
And I thought Balakun on the other side, again, like it was a really proud day for Ulster to have seven players in the match day 23 a year after not having any against Wales.
And I thought Balakun was very good again.
