Ireland's downfall at the 2019 World Cup but what really killed his chances of getting the job was that his right hand man has been Tony Brown probably the best attack coach in the world they would have worked at the Highlanders together but Tony Brown is now working with the Springboks of course and I think he made a play to get him back from the Springboks but people might have seen Rassi Rasmus tweet about the Wolf of Wall Street that Tony Brown isn't going anywhere so

They've done very well to keep Tony Brown even at this late in the cycle because if Tony Brown had been with Jamie Joseph, I would imagine he would have gotten the job.

So Dave Rennie is the man.

He's going to have very little time to prepare for the summer tour.

New Zealand are then going to South Africa on their own kind of version of a Lions tour at the end of the summer.

Ireland are going to play them at Eden Park in July.

And he's under pressure to turn things around in time for the World Cup.

But I think the general consensus in New Zealand would be that the right man for the job.

But it wasn't exactly a very strong field either.

that's the thing and do they love the rugby they're playing and do they stick with it Scotland could give France a good game I think as well like they have the weapons to potentially hurt them the big issue for them will be up front but they were very good in the air in that win over England which Ireland obviously weren't against France so they definitely have the back line to hurt France I hope it's a proper shoot out like Troy is galore it's set up to be a good Saturday for sure
