Keith, while defensive of the new or defending the decision, made the point you could incorporate the old sounds into it.
Is that what you would have liked to have seen?
You could freshen it up, but still have indisputably the old Sunday Miscellany sound.
David, are we not all just owl lads raging at the dying of the light here?
But maybe, Maria, for a younger generation, the new sig tune will come to mean what that meant for you.

They'll hear it years to come, and they'll think of you cooking sausages.
Young people aside, if nothing else, it's been heartening to hear how much radio and Radio 1 means in the lives of so many people.
