I suspect there are very, very few people ever prosecuted for it.

We have the same number of prison spaces as we had when the population was about 3 million, and the population is now well over 5 million.
We need another prison, but we don't have one.
But if you if you kind of took the reins off the Gardaí and allowed them to police a bit more robustly, how would that solve the mental health problems of people?

That's the problem.
