But if you are looking at extending or doing some work on the home, can you give us a rough estimate per square metre what you're looking at in terms of cost?
So you have to do the architect's job as well, do you?
Because sometimes you can make do with the space you have if your house is more comfortable.
So if it's warmer and you've got new plumbing and your electrics are working well, unfortunately that costs a lot, but it's invisible work, isn't it?
Yeah because if you look at an ad for a house online and you see the energy rating is you know a G or it's off the scale you look at that and you go I'm going to have to spend a fortune on that house so I'm going to look at the house that has been done up so really that is if you're intending to sell at any time down the line that's a really good investment to
And tell me, the grant system, I know the SEAI grants are there for that type of a retrofit, but a lot of people will say you have to spend an awful lot of money to get the grants back.
Are they working in practice for you?
And it all has to be signed off as well.
So you get, you know, the line is drawn under it when the work is done that has been done.
