The Minister for Housing, James Brown, is bringing a controversial and delayed proposal for a short-term lettings register before Cabinet later on today.

So this has been long anticipated and as I said, long delayed too.
Will you just remind us what's in it and why there has been so much kerfuffle up to this point to get here?
OK, well, that's on the way.
But also in relation to property, we've this derelict property tax coming before Cabinet today.
And the reason for this, we see on the front of The Independent this morning, one in three councils failed to collect the derelict property levy.
So it's going to move to revenue.
And we know what happens when something moves to revenue.
The money starts to come in pretty quickly.
It doesn't make sense.
But the amount of this tax is not going to change, is it?
It's going to be the same, it's just collected by a different entity out there.
It'll be interesting to see how the level of tax collected on derelict property tax changes over the next, say, 18 months or so.
Now, the passenger cap, the airport passenger cap, that's also before Cabinet today.
