As usual, I was trying to get rid of the goodies and just be like, no, don't make it funny, right?
But I get up and you know that fucking thing that happens where it's like, it's sad, but then it's funny.
But what he did was, he didn't get up and like massage the situation into something happening, you know, like the way normal improvs happen.
We stand up, we get up and Alex just goes,
I've got cancer.
Now, look at your reaction, right?
So it was like, it was like this big, like he did this big like Baywatch fucking head on him.
He was real good looking as well.
He is good looking, sorry, I should say.
And he just goes, but it's just the way he just went.
And it was just like, like it was, that was not the way to kick me off because I just did that.
Obviously, I just was like, and then I went, and I had to do this whole thing where I was like,
Sorry, I actually have this real nervous tick reaction that when I hear bad news at first, it's just a shock thing.
I just laugh like the whole rest of the class are all like this.
So then we had to like, and then I was like, and then Jamie was like, he was like, okay, reign it in, reign it in.
Alex, I didn't mean like, you know, and then we eventually found our way to doing some serious improv.
Very good.
That was a long way of saying it took me a long time to get into tragedy.
