And Alana did say she had a conversation with his dad at the end of the relationship and said to the dad, look, if I was your daughter, what would you recommend I do in this situation?

And apparently Lee's father said,

go, get as far away from this situation as possible.

And I suppose that when you think about it this way, I hope Katie will listen to those around her and, you know, she has such a loyal following online.

I think the people who are affected most are the people who are in these people's

inner circle, because not only do they hope against hope each time that the lies will stop, but they become victim then because they get pulled into the dishonesty.
