We're talking to Congressman Jim Jordan.
Congressman, appreciate you coming on.
We had a conversation about this, and I think it's really important for people out there.
Supremacy Clause says that the federal government gets to make decisions on immigration.
You and I talked about this, but I want to hammer it home here.
We talked on this program.
You probably came on and talked about it with us.
And I know a lot of people in Texas came on and talked about it.
The fact that Texas wanted to secure their border and the court said Texas can't do it because the state cannot make immigration policy.
The federal government does.
I don't understand, and I think it's a really easy legal argument to tie together, why Texas couldn't take that act.
And all of these, as you just said, 31% of the country's states, cities and states that are blue, think that they can basically implement their own immigration policy.
I think the courts have to make this determination.
I think this important argument you just made, and let me give you an example that I think you're going to be nodding your head at because it's just across the Potomac from where you are.
Abigail Spanberger got elected in Virginia.
She ran 100% as a moderate, as a no-nonsense mom who just wants to be a normal leader.
She has gotten in office, and in her first month in Virginia, they're trying to knock Republicans down to one congressional seat.
They have embraced far left-wing crazy town agendas.
Tax increases have come across.
She in one month has demonstrated that she is actually a radical leftist.
