So I'm a certified public accountant by education.
And I had done everything from financing accounting work to outside sales work to project management work.
And I was working at Dell at the time.
Dell is a challenging environment.

It's they just expect a lot out of you.
And they pay you well, but they own a little piece of your soul.

So I left Dell really when I opened up my second franchise with The Lice Place.
So the reason I left Dell was to go chase my dreams as an entrepreneur in the lice industry.
So Lais originally was a plan B for me.
I was at Dell.
I was in a business analyst role in an expensive place with no revenue generation and no customer facing.
And they started all those privatization talks.
And I thought, I better have a plan B or I'm going to get laid off.
Well, you know, Dell has large layoffs every year.
So I just was, you know, an expensive resource and I was putting together a layoff list myself.
