Hegseth is punishing him in his own unique way, and Mark Kelly is calling BS, saying, no, that's not it.
And this is a perfect example of where the courts exist because Mark Kelly is saying, all right, let's chat it up.
Let's have courts decide.
Let's talk about that.
And through that whole process, he's betting, and I think a good bet, that people are going to see this as really β
Petty, bad, it's harassment and it's personal.
I also think Mark Kelly's probably thinking about running for office himself, a higher office, maybe the White House in 2028.
So this isn't the worst thing.

It also happens to be politically expedient for him.

And, you know, from what I've understood from people I know who are legal people, it sounds like a lot of this is sort of legal theater and the odds of this really sort of doing anything other than being thrown out of court or being resolved or just sort of going away.
seems unlikely.
It seems like this is a competing publicity stunt.
And one is sort of justified by pushing back.
The other is just a petty sort of political attack on someone who is critical, reasonably critical, not even critical, just reminding our enlisted and military members
don't obey illegal orders, which is, you know, which is an oath that they all take in serving the country and is also akin to saying, remember to breathe.
You know, it's just the basis.
