Congrats.
The country is rallying around you.
We love it.
And thank you for stopping by our show.
Again, thank you for having me.
You know, we always talk about in the NBA, like the San Antonio Spurs got kind of bullied because it's a baby step league.
It's an incremental league.
In the NFL, you can turn things around quickly, awful to the Super Bowl like the Patriots.
That's not the NBA.
Even with Wembley, the first year he came into the Spurs, they didn't win any more games.
you know it took him years and years to get to the playoffs it's harder to be a gm it's harder to make trades so you have to go to the finals you get beat up a little bit you get pushed around a little bit uh tatum and brown had to go through the same thing you can get to a conference final then you go to a finals then you get beat and it finally it's a little bit like chris richards who's been on the team since 2020 the united states men's national team but the 2022 world cup is we had a lot of these same players but we looked and felt really really young
And I remember the Netherlands matchup.
It's like, oh, that's like guys.
That's like men against these really talented young kids.
And that's what's different here.
It's a lot of these same guys.
It's what the Spurs may look like next year.
You're just like, they're not as frenetic.
They play with more confidence.
They have better pacing.
