One of our last eight NBA champs is led by a center, and he's an international, non-traditional center in Jokic.

I covered Sabonis.

He was a center, much less athletic, because we got an old Arvidas Sabonis in Portland when I covered him.

He was old and didn't move particularly well.

But he was the best passer on the team.

Sabonis was.

He was the best three-point shooter on the team.

I'm not kidding.

So it was like I didn't even look at him.

And I'll say this, it took a while, but he got his coach.

Now, he matched up with Shaq pretty well.

And because he was slow-footed, he was kind of a classic center.

It took Herbert a while.

He got his coach.

But Wemby's never going to be that guy of establish the low block.

The guy I feel sorry for in this league, because I do believe eventually Trevor Lawrence got his coach, Liam Cole.

The NBA is almost officiating as if they don't want that.

It took a long time.

The guy I worry about is Joe Burrell, and I think Zach Taylor's fine, but he's got the cheapest and the poorest owner.

They want a wing guard ball handler league.
