So you would literally take, uh, one inch thick pieces of foam and you would heat up your Kydex.
It comes in a 12 by 12 sheet.
And if you don't know, Kydex is a thermoplastic.
So when you heat it to a certain temperature, then it's malleable and you can form it to whatever shape that you, um,
compress against it.
And so with foam pressing, you take two one-inch pieces of foam and you build up the mold and you apply pressure to the mold by wrapping the kydex around the mold.
That's why it's called a taco style because it folds like a taco.
And then you apply pressure to the foam on either side, give it like 15 minutes to cool, and then Bob's your uncle, you got a holster, if you manage to do it right.
But I got myself into trouble because I was like, you know what?
I have something here.
There are people interested in my products.
I'm going to offer...
Every holster model under the sun, and I'm going to outpace all of the big guys because one thing that a lot of people always complained about was the big holster manufacturers like Safariland or T-Rex or Tier 1 or whatever you want to name, they had a limited selection of firearm configurations to make holsters for.
They didn't have the PPQs.
They didn't have the, you know,
whatever off the wall, uh, configurations.
And so I was like, I'm going to be the guy that does it.
And so, yeah, the high points, I was like, I'm going to be the guy that does it.
So I, I made a website, I listed, this is where I got in trouble.
So on the, uh, on the website where I get all of my materials and supplies, um, they have the molds for the guns and they're, they're, they're called full molds.
