But this is from her perspective.
she wakes in the morning and her son is in the first world war.
And she realized if every day is a success, you get to midnight without a telegram, then that's a great day.
Each day then becomes a sort of gift unless, unless, unless the news is going to come.
And it does come.
And she feels that she remembers everything before the telegram came in a completely different way.
So light was different.
So silence was different.
I'm trying to write this down.
And, you know, it's not that she was hungry and then she got fed.
It's not, you know, it's not something you can measure, this idea of memory changing.
But I wrote that page and then I left it on my laptop and I would read it twice a day.
This is over a few months.
I make little changes, little changes, until I could make no more changes.
And then I felt I could go on with it.
I could finish the story.
But I think the longer you take...
the better.
