So then he signed us and we ended up releasing like a single on his label.

And he took us on the road for a little while and we opened for him in Earl's Court in London on my 18th birthday, which was amazing.

For me, it was just like that's all I wanted to do.

I was just so lucky to be able to travel and do all these amazing things that I'd always dreamed of.

So that took us on the road for a long time.

And eventually we went to the US and we toured for about six months, I think.

We went everywhere and, you know, some of it was DIY and some of it was, you know, booked through a booking agent.

And it was like one of the best experiences I think I'd ever had, to be honest.

But lots of weird things happened.

Like we'd guns pulled on us a few times.

We had a guy try to attack us in our tent outside of Seattle and...

Just some of the wildest things that you could imagine.

But like nothing supernatural.

And that was something that I'd never really, I'd never really thought about that kind of thing.

You know, I just sort of, you know, you hear about ghost stories and things that happen to people, but you never really believe it until it happens to you.

You know, then you sort of, it kind of opens things up a little bit and then you start kind of questioning things from the past.

But basically, once I finished this US tour, I went back to Ireland and had a few months break and had a mutual friend in Manchester who messaged me and he says, you know, you should really meet this artist, Chelsea Crowell.

She's based in Nashville.

She's a singer-songwriter and sent me some of her music and I just really loved it.
