Like, this is a time before me, but I hear my parents used to talk about meeting someone under Cleary's clock.

I did it once.

But you didn't just say, I'm not going to bother at five o'clock.

You had to go because you made the commitment.

You didn't have phones to text and say, my fake thing happened and I can't make it.

Like, there was a commitment there that was honoured.

And I think...

the ease to which we can ghost people, step out, not go, not turn up, is problematic.

Yeah, and we're hearing in the news a lot about the kind of lockdowns and the excessiveness of all of that.

The residue of COVID, like I can remember when we were, the anticipation of the lockdowns being lifted and I was kind of going, how is this going to, how are the sanitizers and the huggers going to work here?

Do you know what I mean?

Because people had very different experiences of it.

But there's a quote from Jiddu Kishimurti that says, it is not a sign of health to be well adjusted to a sick society.

And I just think that's what happened in COVID.

We got well adjusted to exercise.

And in many of the cases that the kids and young people who thrived in COVID, they've really struggled with the pause button being lifted.

And so the return to the normal.

And there's a lot of things about COVID that have stuck.
