You know, we're hunters, you know, love waterfowl hunting. And we had watched, you know, the Duckman videos and Duck Commander and obviously Duck Dynasty and everything. And so we felt a connection. But the real connection was through the Unashamed podcast.

That was kind of, you know, where we really connected, you know, God and church and kind of our fellowship with the Lord was through the Unashamed. You know, you guys think like us, you look like us. Like that's where our connection was and what drew us.

us to duck commander um and then my dad had a dream of um that was kind of his thing was to be baptized by you guys oh really yeah a couple years ago he he asked me he's like i think it was rookie year sometime you brought up that you want to be baptized by by the duck man i was like all right you know It's kind of a pipe dream when you think about it. That's a long way for us to go.

How do those paths meet? Sure enough, one of the owners at the Niners, I wore a Duck Commander sweatshirt, his place in Idaho up on a mountain, and he said, you want to meet him? And I kind of looked at it funny. I was like, you never know when you take someone's word for if they know somebody. And I was like, all right, whatever.

And through growing in the word and getting closer to God, I learned to ask for help. And sure enough, I asked him. I was like, all right, let's see what this is about, if he really knows it. Sure enough, a week later, he's like, hey, you ready to go to Louisiana? and meet the duck man and get baptized. And I was like, all right, let's go. Um, you know, I listened side.

And, um, you know, you said that if someone put a revolver in my head, um, You said, pull the trigger. He said, I'm ready to go.
