And I don't want to say that because they haven't played those, like those two teams have been playing each other, it feels like every bloody weekend since July, you know, whereas Armagh haven't played any of them really outside, like the league didn't really matter.

Whereas there was all eyes on that first Donegal carry match and then they played each other in the league final, then they played each other in the championship.

Armagh, you know, coaching to, they won an Ulster championship that wasn't really an Ulster championship.

Like they didn't beat Derry, they didn't beat Donegal.

that's probably in their heads as well so there might be a bit of doubt creeping into that camp like you know did we actually did we actually really get over the line be like winning Leinster have we beaten Dublin you know would it really count

So you just wanted to give this a mention?

Well, a lot of it is... Well, the Christie Ring, Derry have never won it.

They've been to the final five times.

They've been to the last three finals.

They haven't been to the Joe McDonald's.

It actually would be huge if they could...

get over the line to get there and it would be amazing because in Derry you only have eight clubs that are playing senior hurling there's a new one now in Finbars so sort of nine really but like eight that have always been there and serving the county team really and so it's a very small hurling county

But then, you know, there is a bit of buzz around that as well, even though they've lost four of the last five finals at that level.

There is the Kerry thing from 2023 that everybody's thinking about.

But Conor McIntyre, he's been captain the whole way through.

He's a brilliant footballer as well for Stock Neil, but he's just such a great servant for Derry the whole way through.

And then...

You often hear journalists giving out about new match programs and they're scribbling and having to change the names on the programs and team sheets and things like that.

There they've actually released a 40-page media pack for everybody to go along with the hurling for this final.
