Yeah, it is to an extent, but at the same time, like, I've limited sympathy for Tiger Woods.
Like, I think this is part of his story.
You can say something is sad.
But it's as much of a part of his story as the Great Golf.
You know, like, Tiger Woods has a very strange upbringing.
He was bred to become this super athlete, and that is what he became.
A machine.
And clearly, it was at the expense of normal human capabilities that we all have.
Like, when you drive around the place,
on a cocktail of prescription medication or impaired by the judgment of a state trooper the other day, you're taking liberties with other people's lives.
It's not just your own.
So the stuff about, you know, it's sad on Tiger, this is ultimately what you become.
You know what I mean?
Like most of us, when you get older, you realise that you're not the centre of attention, that the world doesn't actually revolve around you because there's other people out there.
But Tiger Woods doesn't seem to have grasped that.
And even this kind of pursuit of the extra majors, which is what he's doing.
Like at some level, Tiger Woods thinks he's going to win more majors.
It's quite venal.
Like he is...
golf's greatest ever person.
