Because rugby realizes that actually tours and series are what sets it apart rather than nation's championships.

they're weirdly in a great place for it because it works in terms of people will go and see it the jersey has a massive cachet they saw the value at a viva game they have instant brand recognition the french would probably get on board with it they're talking about america as well as is everyone you know everyone wants to go play in america they could do america then to argentina who would they play in america the us canada possibly uruguay on the way down and then what's the point of that cash money cash money but like who would pay in to see them play america

Well, they think people, well, I mean, rugby is, Ireland are playing a game in America every year for the next five years.

it's a long way away I suspect they'll end up with the same three on rotation and what they'll do is they'll play a game in France before they fly to New Zealand I think that Aviva game next time could be against France in Paris or in Marseille and then you would fly off and yeah the only problem that time was that half the Lions weren't available because they played finals the previous week like the Lions doesn't really fit and I think the Lions has a bit of work to do to think about what it is as well because what left me cold on that tour last year wasn't necessarily the games it was the way they kind of
