I went to LinkedIn and I went, I found Bamboo.

And I seen he was trying to hire a junior BDR.

I just rolled my eyes like I was waiting for him to get down off stage.

Business development rep.

So like a junior business development person, essentially.

Lead generator, essentially, get me through the door.

And I just rolled my eyes because I just knew you have to build a structure to be able to put a junior into.

Can't just throw them a yellow pages anymore and say best of luck.

You know what I mean?

So I waited for him to get off stage and I approached him and spent, I can't even remember how long, maybe 40 minutes explaining in depth how it's not going to work and it's going to fail.

I'd say he loved you.

Yeah, he did.

Honestly, we instantly connected.

Do you know what I mean?

Yeah, no, and Luke is never like that.

Luke is always, and I think it's something from the Bamboo Days.

Long story short, he hired me after that conversation.

I had to go home and tell my partner that I was leaving a pretty cushy job to go and work for this kid in a startup on Amazon.

No, I just knew there and then this is... I knew I had kind of learned what I wanted to learn from the location intelligence side of it.

I knew I could put that together with the business intelligence side of it and have enough to be able to go and be semi-successful, I kind of thought.
