yeah i think um yeah it definitely entered your mind where you're thinking yeah i definitely could have an impact here bush um yeah i suppose i you see the way kumara goes at it is is very much from an like it's a catholic like a catholicism absent like total like um what's the terminology like it's total abstinence yeah total absence um
and yeah i suppose if you're coming at it maybe i think your point about coming at it earlier i think will be an interesting space around the psychology and like they don't really delve as much into that um as such um now the method they have is like it obviously speaks for itself but
I was kind of left with two theories.
One was that the brain disease model, where they just think that you're basically born with this and you have an addictive brain and that's it.
And then the other one I was left with was adherent learning, it was called, where you basically developed a toxic trait and that's what it is and you need to retrain your mind.
So I then looked at that and said,
if i was going at that how would i go about it and i was like like what you said i was thinking earlier on and working with them from more probably more from the psychology part of it i think kumara is very much on the habitual behavior part i'd say um but yeah look what i think everyone probably has different views on it but yeah i found it very very interesting and um yeah
Yeah, absolutely.
Yeah, it's... Construction industry is the highest rate of mental health challenges in any industry in Ireland.
I suppose before I started working there, I wasn't that aware of, I suppose, just how challenging it is.
And look, the number one challenge there is...
You have things that need to get built in a certain amount of time and the stress that comes from having to fulfill that program within the space of say 12 weeks or 14 weeks and as soon as you get that done you're on to the next one and just the challenges that come with that and then people have underlying issues, alcoholism, drugs, obviously you're coming from
number of different cultures on site um and massive variance between people working on site versus in the office and um yeah it's it's a huge area i suppose so what would you be doing then connor like what do you actually do
Yeah, so you'd basically... I work in the office, so you'd basically be available for anyone that would have any issues.
So, like, you know, say somebody might be struggling with financial challenges.
