So we see the phrase AI PC everywhere.

What is it?

Oh, God.

Is this marketing jargon?

Is this an actual change in how PCs operate?

Oh, man.

I mean, you have to ask the most convoluted question that we wrestle with at Dell internally all the time.

And...

I'm going to give you kind of a two-part answer.

Okay.

Because I believe there is kind of what, I'm trying to think of a good example here, but it's kind of like there's what the market has defined as what an AI PC is.

And then there's a functional difference between what I would say is an AI PC versus an AI workstation.

So let me, we'll start there.

So how do people in the industry typically define like an AI PC?

Like, if you're watching a Dell Technologies commercial, you're watching an HP commercial, you're watching a Lenovo commercial,

An AI PC is any PC, whether that is, you know, a desktop or a mobile that has some sort of AI acceleration silicon in it somewhere.

It doesn't necessarily really talk about how many tops, how good it is.

Is that an NPU versus a GPU?

Or is that something else?

So broadly, when you're watching an ad or you see something, you know, you're out and about or watch something on TV.
