I agree with that.
I agree with that.
I think the difference I would say is that this is still a thing built for a specific process.
Like this is still you have built an agent to onboard employees is what I would say is the difference.
Where for me, what I'm looking for is an agent that can go off and do whatever the heck I decide I need to be done and understands to go.
Maybe go build an agent itself and spin that up to do those processes.
And it's absolutely capable of telling you what this workflow should be.
So what I wanted to do is go make that workflow, do the thing, and that not be my problem.
To me, truly agentic AI doesn't require me to worry about this step, if that makes sense.
I would.
You know, I mean, I would say that one of the differences is with operators specifically, generally it was like,
a task you're sending it out for.
And you still are, but I think what we're going to be looking at with ChatGPT Agent is the ability to handle much larger, bigger tasks.
I agree.
So we're breaking into ourselves here for a reason.
We've come back and we're re-recording because we had this conversation that you've just listened to about what is and isn't an AI agent or agentic AI or true autonomous AI.
And as they so love to do to us,
OpenAI has called our bluff and released ChatGPT Agent, which is a super interesting thing that we felt like was worth re-recording some of what we've done to get it into this episode.
It is exactly what I was like, that's not an agent.
That's a Zapier automation.
