The government says consumer prices rose in February by 2.4 percent compared to the same time a year ago.

That report on annual inflation is the exact same increase that was reported in January.

However, this report does not capture the sudden jump in gas prices seen since the war in Iran started.

That data will be seen next month.

Officials in northern Indiana say two people have died in tornadoes that struck the region yesterday.

A tornado hit Lake Village in Newton County, Indiana.

It's southeast of Chicago.

That tornado caused extensive damage.

More tornadoes were seen in southern Illinois.
