It is the largest middle class tax cut in my lifetime. Between 80 and 90 percent of New Jerseyans got thousands of dollars more than It cut child poverty almost in half and had profound impact. There's nobody in the Senate that was calling for defunding the police. Everybody, every Democrat in the Senate has a record for increasing funding towards local policing. So what we're talking about here is more not that we didn't have the policy ideas, not that we didn't fight, but we had serious gaps in communicating.
