We had, like, three starters.
I mean, they were giving everything.
Andrew Miller, when I would go home at night, Andrew Miller was still in the training room icing his elbow because he had pitched so much.
I mean, they were – it was just a –
I mean, I was so honored to be able to go through with those guys.
And I don't think it's a coincidence.
That was the one year we had Mike Napoli.
And I think when you have guys like that, they carry people in the right direction.
And I just remember it's just not a – and he's done that in other places too.
I know you saw it in Boston.

Courtney, it's funny you say that because when we went to Chicago, we –
This was before you had to let the pitcher hit.
So we had Carlos Santana, and I put him in left field one game.
And then the next game, I just wasn't comfortable with it, and I had to sit and nap.
And in fact, to this day, I think it's probably one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made because we relied on him so much.
Um, but when he, I knew he was going to be mad.
And when he came in, I'm in the clubhouse, the old clubhouse there in Chicago, I was sitting at that little picnic table in the middle and he was sitting there, but he wouldn't talk to me.
And I said, nap.
I said, I'm not leaving here until you talk to me.
