That's not the way you play during the year.
And I don't think you're finding out the most complete team.
Me too.
I agree.
I don't want to just do that.
Like, I don't think everything needs to be, well, this is now we did it 30 years ago.
I think there's so many things that are so good.
I just think I care so much about the game.
I want to see it always put its best foot forward.
Courtney, I will tell you this, though, which, you know, we talk about the 83 wins.
When I was looking at this job, I remember thinking, okay, it's the Central.
You know, you got a chance.
Because East Coast and West Coast teams, man, they're getting after it.
Well, the Brewers ended up being the best team in baseball, and the Cubs were really good, and we couldn't figure out a way to beat the Pirates.
So it was kind of a challenge, maybe more, you know, and I don't see that going away anytime soon.
I mean, I think just being totally honest, I mean, I think we'd all like to have an infinite amount of money to play with so you could maybe outspend your mistakes.
Because that's probably the biggest thing with some of these teams is if they make a mistake, it doesn't set them back two or three years.
But I got to also be really careful because I was in Boston for eight years and we were kind of one of the big bullies.
Okay, now you go to Cleveland, Cincinnati, and you're not.
I don't think people really want to hear me poo-pooing.
