They're like Nicola Dolo and Andrew Abbott.
They took big steps forward.
We got to keep Hunter on the mound because when he is, he's about as good as anybody.
You know, Chase Burns is coming.
Now, the thing we have to do, we have to develop more bullpen arms.
If you have to go out and pay for one, the volatility of it from year to year is absurd and the prices are absurd.
So the more you can develop, the better off you are.
You know what, Courtney?
The last three weeks when we played pretty well, and part of the reason was Nick Martinez had gone to the bullpen, and that was voluntarily, which that's a whole other story.
We had Chase Burns, who was coming back from an injury, but he was in the bullpen.
So we were able to
not just lean on a couple guys we our bullpen got a little a little got a lot deeper and we had chances to win games even maybe we were down one or two we could hang in games and give ourselves a chance to win so nick martinez moving to the bullpen you think that really solidified your last three weeks of the season he came in at the trade deadline i remember this the night of the trade deadline um
we made a trade for a starting pitcher and he came in and we had a beer and we're sitting there and in our shower shoes and underwear.
And he's like, Hey, you do with me what you want.
He goes, I will do whatever.
And you know, a lot of people talk the talk, this kid, this kid's as legit as, I mean, it just, it makes me want to go do my job better.
Like I,
I mean, I just, I get all revved up when I... What's good, y'all?
I start because it's it was so real and it was so good.
Shoot, even at my age, you kind of learn some things from guys like that.
