past Philadelphia, Baltimore, and right on up towards New York City, probably by around sunrise or so.
I would think it'll be snowing when you wake up Sunday morning and it'll be coming down hard and sticking right away because the air will be so cold.
And then it makes its way on up right into New England.
So Boston.
Figure by about midday on Sunday, the snow will be falling and also sticking right away.
In terms of accumulations, by the time this all starts to wind down, I'm saying right now that there could be anywhere from six inches or more for the Washington, D.C.
area.
Eight to 14 is not out of the question, especially for the inland suburbs for New York and even a foot and a half for some areas inland of Boston.
And the reason I say inland is
is because there is a possibility of sleet and freezing rain mixing in along some of these immediate coastal cities, the closer you water the shoreline, and that will hold accumulations down just a little bit.
But on the other hand, guys, I mean, we're talking about ice, and that's not much better at all.
No, it isn't.
This is going to be a long-duration event.
I'm afraid that it may take until Monday morning through Monday afternoon for it to completely come to an end up the 95 corridor.
So with that in mind, right now I'm thinking to myself that things are going to be moving very slowly, if at all, on Monday morning.
Schools, so forth, and work, and I think there'll be a lot of work-from-home conditions as we go on into the early part of next week.
We are definitely going to get our share, Nathan.
And the first thing is that a cold weather advisory is in effect.
You need the cold air.
