Whether you like it or not, and whether that's going to be good or bad for the Mets, you can't change that right now, whether you put the captain on his chest or not.
By the way, I'm glad they didn't put the captain on his chest because he's not deserving of it.
And maybe that's why Steve Cohen said no captains while I own the team.
Because he knows Soto's not deserving of it.
