So he got what he wanted.
So other than it took a while with Cody Bellinger, Aaron Judge actually got what he wanted because he said he wanted those guys back.
Right.
So I think we're reading too much into his frustration with the process.
And what I would say to Aaron about the process is, with all due respect, the Yankees were never just going to give Scott Boris what he wanted because the Yankees were ultimately right.
Here's the thing about negotiations.
We end up seeing who is right and who is wrong.
The Yankees were right to wait out Cody Ballinger.
There was no boogeyman in Toronto.
There was no boogeyman with Steve Cohen.
There was no boogeyman in L.A.
And maybe that's because the Dodgers ended up with Kyle Tucker and the Mets ended up with Bo Bichette.
But either way, the Yankees won.
The Yankees were right.
Brian Cashman was right.
So just say it.
It's okay.
It doesn't mean we're crowning him as the greatest GM of all time.
But Brian Cashman was absolutely right to wait out the Cody Bellinger market.
And if Aaron Judge doesn't understand it, I don't know what to tell you.
