Yeah, yeah.
No, I think that's a good one because of the windup and the mystery of him.
He comes from Cuba.
He's got this cool nickname, like everything about him.
But yeah, before our time, Ron Guidry for a good four or five year period was the best pitcher in baseball.
And the legend goes, and I don't think it's legend because I think Ron Guidry told Joe and I this years ago, and I think it's well known by Yankee fans, so I'm not speaking out of turn here, that the famous two strike chant
came because of Ron Guidry outings.
So when you go to a baseball game, you'll see it on opening day, and there's two strikes on a hitter, and everybody stands up and starts clapping.
It's like a well-known baseball thing.
Of course, yeah, that's been going on forever.

So yeah, let's take it a step further.

Sans El Duque is the most must-watch TV the Yankees have had since Louisiana Lightning, who retired when I was five.
That's impressive.
It is impressive, which brings you back to another point I'll pat myself on the back for.

I want him pitching the home opener like a good must-watch all-time starter should be pitching it.
