But keep in mind, my thought on benching Lindor is not about teaching Lindor a lesson.

And I know it's cross sport, but Greg Popovich did it with Tim Duncan.

And then Mike would subsequently tell me the story.

And basically the story was Greg Popovich would ream out Tim Duncan in meetings.
Because he knew Tim could take it.
And he knew that the rest of the room would look over and say, whoa.
Yeah, and he wasn't worried about his job.
He wasn't worried about his standing with the team.
He knew he was going to be fine.
Right.
And the same thing with Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.
So keep that in mind.
