You've had some fun with the arrangements between SCA, Southern Cross Austereo, and Channel 7, and rightly so.
You got into me last week with the simulcasting.
The simulcasting of the, as they said in their press release, the iconic Saturday rub now on Channel 7 platforms.
Again, you probably want to get to some other stuff.
How's the temperature in your workplace around this?
I told you, once I was made aware of it, I made everyone I felt I needed to make aware of it, and they then dealt with it.
So there's no issue.
Would you voice a promo saying, hi, I'm Damien Burdick and watch me on Channel 7?
That might be taking things a bit too fast.
But we have, or I've always said, and I maintain this, and it's caused a bit of grief for me at times, that there's been two James Brayshaws over the years since he left Channel 9 to go to Channel 7.
And there's been the James Brayshaw that I've known for the best part of, it'll be more than 25 years now, and the one I like and the one I feel I've become friends with, and the one I think is the real James Brayshaw, that being the triple M James Brayshaw.
The one I hear and see on Channel 7 is not that personal, no, Hutch.
I've said that regularly, but I feel this coming together of SCA and Channel 7 is having the positive outcome of Jays Brayshaw, Triple M,
ever so gradually becoming James Brayshaw, Channel 7.
You think there's a merger?
I think there's a merger of the James Brayshaw characters.
