What's really interesting is the crew on the Dr. Blake Mysteries.

Hey, listen, after the first season, then the show proved to be popular and successful.

Crew, we could have lost to commercial networks or producers who were paying more coin.

They all stayed.

Yeah.

And you'd think as a show increases in popularity over time, your broadcaster might throw more money at it.

Well, we both know that's not how it works.

So we were getting less money to produce it, but the crew stayed.

They stayed and they could have gone.

And I used to say, you know, you create such a happy and fun environment.

We ain't going anywhere.

And the crew largely have supported me and Vanessa and the family through this whole nightmare.

They continue to.

Yeah, in retrospect, it was pretty spectacular.

But of course, in the moment, that's how we always were together.
