So we met a group of people that we just fell in love with, and we became part of that church family.
And we were going to church Sunday, Sunday night, Wednesday, had the potluck on Thursday, Bible study on whatever other day.
It was just what we did.
But my spiritual walk has been something of a book in and of itself.
I grew up in a Southern Baptist family.
Stayed Southern Baptist my whole adult life.
Experienced things in the church that made us feel uncomfortable there, so we thought we would go over here and try the Methodist.
Before my son died, he and my youngest son and my wife were going through a program at the Catholic Church called the RCIA program.
And it's the Rights for Christian something.
The Catholic Church is different than any other form of Christianity.
Yeah, so Karen was going through this program, and she would come home and tell me these stories, and I'd be like,
we're going to end up getting divorced.
You're in this damn cult.
And she would tell me something.
I'm like, that's not true.
That's not what the Bible says.
And you know, study it, read it.
