Feeling like you can't take the time to rest and recover because you've got bills to pay or a job to keep. You know, being a coach, even though I was afforded paid sick time, it was the type of job that you really try and muscle through for your team. And I have done that.

It made me realize, though, that it is tough for folks who don't have the benefit of paid sick time. It's not only tough on the individual and their families, it's also tough on your coworkers. I really could barely focus until, it wasn't until I got the final, you know, when the kids get invited to their first play date and it feels like a real friend. And, you know, that wasn't until March where I felt like, Okay, I can breathe. I mean, forget about everything else that was happening and the attacks and all the politics.

Knowing that they were settled and were going to be okay, that was the biggest relief that I had. But I say all that to say that they turned out okay. Because- Kids are way more resilient, I think, than we give them credit for.
