assets that are being developed aren't taking away from community infrastructure.
They're not taking energy assets away from the community.
They're not using drinking water as they're built in the future.
They're using either recycled water, not accessing potable water resources.
So yeah, I think that all of the key messages that the government shared
for goals for the development of digital infrastructure were completely logical.
The majority of them are already legislated and in place today.
And it goes to give the community confidence that the assets that are being developed are being developed in a sustainable way.
I think you want to remember that the function when people say data centers use water, essentially data centers have historically used water to reject heat and that then gets evaporated.
So they don't consume the water and not put it back into the environment.
The first component is that
the type of water we use is the important question.
So we don't want to use drinking water.
We want to use recycled water.
So in the future, water is important to use because it is 3000 times more thermally efficient at rejecting heat than using power to provide the cooling.
And so water and the type of water is an important choice to get the best sustainability outcome for digital infrastructure.
So we're developing recycled water plants
in partnership with regional players.
So in Melbourne, as an example, South East Melbourne Water will be building a new recycled water plant with us as the key anchor customer to support that.
In Sydney, our S4 development, the new Sydney one that we just announced recently, will use recycled water that's being developed through Connexa,
