Yeah, well, I lost my brother a few years ago to suicide, and it turns your world upside down.
So to see Jordan Dawson, I was actually at that game on the weekend, Brisbane taking on Adelaide, and the courage for him to get back out only a week or so after what had happened, and then to play well but to kick some goals,
What a huge and courageous effort that was, because what happens to your mind, you don't stop thinking about it.
You have little triggers.
You know, it could be a song that reminds you of your brother.
You see people in the crowd that can trigger lookalikes or so forth.
It's very hard to concentrate.
And even to this day, you think about it every day.
You have the ups and downs.
You just learn to deal with it and get on with your day a bit better.
But that's going to be around forever.
It's horrendous.
It gets me angry when you see and hear of people taking their lives and...
We need to do something about it.
We need to somehow be better.
I know there's so many charities and so much awareness out there, but we've got to somehow find a way to be better, especially in country areas.
I know for a fact in country areas when there are concerns with people and a lot of men that sometimes they aren't able to get any help for at least a month because they're
You know, there's not a lot of people who are dedicated to go to those areas.
And if they are heading that way, they're on a sort of a travel route, which sometimes it might be a month or so.
But it does get me angry.
