In case you missed the big news, we've been talking about it for most of the rest of the afternoon.

Kansas City City Council has passed the ordinance to authorize the city manager to negotiate a term sheet and earmarked $600 million toward a Royals downtown stadium at Washington Square Park.
It passed by an 11 to 1 margin with one person not voting.
Afterwards, a very happy Quinton Lucas talked to reporters.
That is a man who is happy and should be, KC Moe Mayor Quinton Lucas, after the Kansas City City Council passed the ordinance to authorize a city manager to negotiate a term sheet and earmark $600 million toward a Royals downtown stadium at Washington Square Park.
11-1 was the verdict with one abstention.
And so there are a number of hurdles that we've expected to be cleared easily, and they've been cleared pretty darn easily.
