And I'm not going to bash that concept at all. If you can pull it off and do it.

But don't be discouraged if that isn't the way you become a pilot. You can certainly go to your local airport where you did the Discovery flight. You can do two things. Well, there's actually many ways to get through ground school. I would first, obviously, you need to go get ground school. And I'm not a guy that was able to sit online to listen to the King courses and not pass out.
