The retailer Target says it will stop selling cereals containing synthetic colors by the end of May.
The company has already been reducing the use of the colors for several years, and 85 percent of its cereal sales now come from products without the dyes.
Target says it will no longer carry brands that refuse to reformulate their cereals.
