Hundreds of people are heading to Cuba this weekend, delivering some 20 tons of humanitarian aid.
The country has been on the verge of collapsing since President Trump imposed an energy embargo on Cuba in January.
A small group of activists arrived in Havana on Wednesday, taking supplies to hospitals.

The moves come as Iran continues its attacks on Israel as well as a number of energy sites in neighboring Gulf states.
Oil prices continue to climb this week as Iran has also blocked most oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz.
But President Trump said Friday that Iran will not be able to maintain that stranglehold for very long and the economy will return to normal.
Georgia is the first state to suspend its gas tax in response to the war in Iran.
