A federal judge ruled Saturday evening that Carrie Lake was elevated to the position of acting CEO of the U.S.
Agency for Global Media without legal authority.
That ruling declares as void all actions taken by Lake in that role, including mass layoffs and administrative leaves.
The agency is the parent of U.S.-funded international radio networks, including The Voice of America.
