I think there's been few duds so far in the games I've watched.

It's just felt a little bit like a long wait for England, which, you know, the tournament goes on, we might be grateful of it.

of a break from England and watching the other teams but I felt like the World Cup kicked off ages ago and I haven't seen England play yet there's there's lots of games obviously there's some some leery kick-off times but I mean I'm enjoying it so far I just love watching football the summers when there's no tournament are

I really struggle with life.

So just great that there's football on from my perspective.

I mean, obviously, as you know, Max, I was not there.

I made the decision to stay at home and watch it with my dad, who would not have been able to travel to Istanbul in his current state.

But...

Do I have regrets?

Absolutely.

All my mates are there.

It looked like it was absolutely incredible last night, but just absolutely elated that we've finally ended that trophy drought.

Over 30 years without a trophy feels absolutely incredible.

I was watching it with my stepson, realising that I was his age, 10, the last time Villa won a trophy last night, but...

We made it look easy and in the end there was, well not hairy moments, but maybe it was a little bit uncomfortable for the first 40 or so minutes.

But then suddenly Villa remembered what they did in the midpoint of the season where we just scored worldie after worldie.

And the Tilleman strike is just a thing of beauty.
