How many times I told you on the show in the, you know, I don't know, three months we've been back now, that was my primary concern is protecting people's civil liberties.

And I was very honest with you that there is a tradeoff there.

You want absolute security?

Yes.

Have the FBI buy a thousand surveillance products.

We can just tap into your phone with no touch malware.

The downside to that is occasionally if people secrete themselves in society enough and don't leave enough footprints around and don't tell anyone they're going to commit an attack, there are going to be people that slip through.

That's the hard truth.

Forfeit all your liberty.
